Restaurant Manager needed for busy Restaurant, Bar & Farm Shop 

We need an engaging individual to become the Restaurant Manager for our Strandhill Restaurant, Bar and Farm Shop, serving produce direct from our organic farm and helping us to deliver our Mission & Goals. In this role, Restaurant Managers ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably. As with all members of our team, there is an expectation to wear multiple hats, seek out opportunities to make us and themselves better every day and in general, be a good team player! 

What it’s like to work here

You will work right beside one of the most popular and picturesque beaches in Ireland. You will be managing front of house operations and working with our Executive Head Chef and kitchen team. You'll inspire the next generation of restaurant managers and make every customer experience exceptional.

With the support of our HR, Marketing and Finance team, as well as our production unit teams and business owners, you will put your own stamp on the restaurant.

What you’ll be doing 

You will manage the restaurant, bar and farm shop and represent your site across the Honestly group. With the support of our head office team, you will be responsible for financial targets and management, building an exceptional customer experience, ensuring a safe, fair and welcoming place of work for your team and generally delivering our mission and green business goals to your team and customers every day.  

Who we’re looking for 

Required:

  • At least two years’ experience as a Restaurant General Manager 
  • A hands-on approach to service
  • The ability to prioritise and juggle multiple responsibilities
  • Strong leadership and management skills  
  • Experience in managing budgets 
  • Confident IT skills and experience POS systems
  • Great communication skills 
  • Commercial focus  
  • Commitment to creating a vibrant, welcoming, inclusive workplace  
  • An interest in sustainable food practices and great tasting food  
  • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety, Food Safety, Security, Fire Safety, and Employment legislation
  • Overseeing stock levels and ordering supplies.
